and the show
My name is Kathleen Moss. I’m a native of the Pacific Northwest, where I’ve spent 50 years living under a canopy of fir and oak forests. I had my first mastectomy in 2022, and joined the flat community soon afterward. Through community I learned about the power of storytelling for resolving body and cancer shame. My vision for the show is that we would be more unified as a community of survivors and educated as patient advocates, and never feel alone in our struggle. The show will feature personal storytelling as it’s main objective, and we will also feature breast cancer advocates, research leaders and non-profit founders who have important stories to tell.
